Cedric removed

Cedric (and Agnes) has been removed since the last scheduled downtime. The diamond price on my server Isiltir isn't affected yet but we will some sort of affect, eventually. Especially the next time there is an offer that will get players to spend dias.

New Level 70 Elite Skills!


Some of you may already have found the new Level 70 Elite Skills in ItemPreview which appeared with patch 5.03.2573 of Runes of Magic. Even if we can't get them yet, Elite-Skills are always very interesting and therefore we'll have a closer look at them in today's news. Please keep in mind that:
  • the skills are not yet available and may change until they are released
  • skill-calculation ist a bit tricky and we cannot guarantee that our values are always right

    • Blood Battle
      • Increases your Blood Arrow's Melee Weapon Damage at the same time.
  • Rogue
    • Desperate Measures
      • When activated, it will prevent death once and restore full HP within 10 seconds. After death is averted, the caster will experience a Weakened state for 5 seconds. This will cause 15% HP damage for every second.
  • Mage
    • Possessed by Anger
      • Makes your Electrical Rage stackable and have an extra Physical Defense and Magical Defense bonus increase.

Easy gold in Runes of Magic

The easiest way, in terms of effort, to get gold in Runes of Magic is to sell and buy gold and diamonds in the Action House. The trick is to never buy someone else's gold or diamonds, always post your own offers in AH. An easy rule is to buy diamonds for less than 40k each, and sell for more than 40k each. As long as you stick to that you're always safe.
On my server I can buy for 37k and sell 43k in a short time which means 600k profit with a 100 diamonds. I went from 150 diamonds to 700 diamonds in less than a week, with no real work. I could do quests or minis and just check my mailbox once in a while. The more gold/diamonds you got, the faster you will make money.

Score for More Diamonds - Redeem voucher

When you get a Score for More Voucher, you shouldn't use the redeem page at runesofmagic.com, you should click the recharge diamonds link, just like when you buy diamonds.

If you haven't done it before, login using your first password and select the correct server.
Click on Redeem coupon, if the text isn't in your language, then click the top one of the 2 bottom buttons.
Paste in the code in the field, and you should have your diamonds when you login.

New Level 60 Elite Skills!

Here's what's been figured out so far for doing the 60 Elite quests: 

Talk to Daris at the Class Hall in Varanas to get the quest (Currently with a messed up name like Sys34260_name or something like that), then go see an npc near kobolds in silverspring (with an equally messed up name like the quest), accept it and go see flora in lower east Varanas. Now head to Ravenfell (Abandoned Fortress in Snoop's list of ports) and go looking for 2 flowers. 1 flower is near Calamus Manor and the other is up near Throne of Wind. 
Now back to Flora and hand in the quest to get an amulet as a reward. You can pick from two types. Whatever one you pick make sure you have a friend and that they choose the other amulet. 
Now equip it like an xp or tp orb, right click it to gain an "essence" and trade it to your friend with the other amulet while they do the same for you. Once the trade is complete right click on the bottle you received and the amulet will have filled up by 100 points. You need 2,000 to fill it up and it has a 5 hour cooldown.
Repeat the process of you and your partner right clicking your amulets for "essences" and trading every 5+ hours until you fill your amulets up to 2,000. 
That's all that is known currently. I want to guess you take the filled amulet to the npc near the kobolds in Silverspring since they'll still have an unfinished quest to complete...we will see as more info is learned! Hope this helps somewhat!

Scout
Battle Focus Increases Physical Attack Accuracy when your Skull Breaker hits, and recovers (Buff-Dot-622988) Focus. Lasts for (Buff-Time-620365). (After the effect has ended it cannot be triggered again for (Buff-Time-622989) seconds.) 

Rogue

Attack Launch Stops your Berserk from reducing Physical Defense. 

Mage

Lightning Burn Weapon A special power that controls the weather and fire. Instills flame and electricity in your weapon. 

Priest

Combat Expertise Stops your Defensive Formation from reducing Physical Attack Power and Magical Attack Power. 

Knight

Whirlwind Battle Technique Reduces your Whirlwind's rage by 25 and cooldown time by 15 seconds. If a shield is equipped then it increases aggro. 

Warden

Visceral Impact Makes your Air Tremor hits cause an additional reduction of Physical Attack Power and Magical Attack Power. 

Druid

Revival Slash When targets are hit by your Slash, there is a chance that you will receive a Recover effect. However, the healing effect is reduced. (Can't be re-triggered while Recover is in effect.) 

Scout


Warrior
Vital Reflection Increases damage inflicted by your Reflected Shot on targets that have less than 30% HP. 

Rogue

Master Reflected Shot Makes your Reflected Shot fire 2 additional shots. Also increases damage from each Reflected Shot. 

Mage

Cross-Domain Discipline Allows you to equip a staff. When you do and you hit a target with your Wind Arrows, there is a chance that it will carry ((DMG-623064) + (FixDMG-623064) * INT) wind damage. 

Priest

Revival Engraving Increases your companions' Received Healing by (Buff0-623087)%, reduces Received Physical Damage and Magical Damage by (Buff1-623087)% after a target is hit by your Mana Drain Shots. The maximum level of this skill is 50. 

Knight

Blessed Quiver Reduces your Healing Shot cooldown time by 4 seconds. Also increases your Healing Shot critical hit rate. When your Healing Shot is a critical attack, it will definitely trigger a Mana Recovery. 

Warden

Deep Roots Increases the distance of your Briar Shield reflected shot to 180. Also each reflected shot has a a chance to root the enemy for (Buff-Time-623114) seconds. (When the reflected shot target is a player, the rooting effect is reduced.) 

Druid

Efficiency Guidance When your Devour Blood is triggered, it recovers (DMG-623151) of your companions' Rage, Focus, and Energy. The maximum level of this skill is 50. 

Rogue


Warrior
Toxic Splash Makes Poison Spray trigger a Poisonous Infection effect that causes damage and poisons all surrounding enemies. 

Scout

Paralysis Attack Transforms your Numbing Dagger to arrow use. 

Mage

Instant Shadow This effect can be triggered after you do a dodge maneuver. It quickly conceals you. 

Priest

Mana Needle While in a Magic Barrier, received Physical Damage will stun the attacker for (Buff-Time-623033) seconds. (After the effect has ended it cannot be triggered again for (Buff-Time-623034) seconds..) 

Knight

Illegal Punishment Inflicts additional damage caused by your Punishment depending on Dexterity. 

Warden

Revival While in a Wound Patch state, each time you receive physical or magic attack you can stack a Revival effect. Effect can be stacked a maximum of 10 times. Actively using Revival makes you recover HP. The amount of HP you recover is dependent on Revival. 

Druid

Malicious Intent Release Your Killin' Time will not be limited in the times it can be used, but its time limit is reduced from 15 seconds to 7 seconds. 

Mage


Warrior Meditation Path When you cast Fireball, Lightning, Discharge or Phoenix, you can achieve a mobile casting skill state. Lasts for 7 seconds. 

Scout Strength of Ashes After your Flame Spirit disappears, this provides you with an increase in Magical Damage. Lasts (Buff-Time-62317 seconds. 

Rogue Night Refuge When Shadow Protection is in effect and you receive a normal attack, this instills Fear in the attacker for (Buff-Time-623192) seconds. It also immediately casts Kiss of the Vampire on the attacker. (After the effect has ended it cannot be triggered again for (Buff-Time-503303) seconds.) 

Priest Boiling Impact Increases Rising Tide damage and transforms your Rising Tide into Fire Damage. It can also be affected by Eruption. 

Knight Brilliance Award Reduces your Stars of Light chant time by half. Also increases target's Light damage by 3%. Can be stacked 5 times. 

Warden Follower's Ground While Earth Scepter is in effect, this provides an extra increase in your Intelligence and Stamina. Also your Absence will cause an additional increase in the Earth Damage received by the target. 

Druid Infiltration Spirit After a target is hit by your Earth Pulse, it causes an additional reduction of the target's Magical Defense.

Light Healer Fighting Spirit When Fighting Spirit Combination hits a target, it can recover the caster's HP. 

Scout

Area of Light Chain When Chain of Light hits, it recovers the HP of all party members within an area of 60. 

Rogue

Toxic Feedback Makes your Snake Curse have a chance to make the next Heal an instant spell. 

Mage

Element Defense Casting Group Heal will earn a blessing that reduces Received Physical Damage and Received Magical Damage by 3%. Can be stacked a maximum of 3 times. 

Knight

Splendor Ripple When Wave Armor is cast, it will recover extra HP for the target.

United Efforts Rushes to party members and provides a shield for them and you. Reduces Physical Damage and Magical Damage by (Buff0-0)%. Lasts for (Buff0-Time) seconds.

Evil Shackles Holy Chains is not limited to any target type, but when target is not an Undead or Demon target, effect time is reduced by half. 

Rogue

Approach Makes your Shadow Step carry a taunting effect and damage reduction effect for (Buff-Time-623170) seconds. 

Mage

Magic Healing While your Mana Shield is in effect, an extra 1% of HP is recovered every second. 

Priest

Angel Salvation Uses the holy light to resurrect a player. (Can be used in battle.) 

Warden


Warrior
Elf Blessing When Elven Guidance is used, it causes an increase of the caster's Physical Defense and recovers HP every second. 

Scout

Forest Surround Increases Chiron the Centaur's Casting Speed by (Buff0-623251)%. 

Rogue

Force Fountain While your Heart of the Oak is in effect, it causes an additional increase in Strength. 

Mage

Resonation of Wind When your Wind Chop hits a target and triggers Wind Damage, this will reduce your Power of the Oak cooldown time by 5 seconds. 

Druid

Briar Control Your Briar Shield increases your Healing and Received Healing. Every time you use Thorn Sigil, you earn a shield that is 5% of Maximum HP.

Briar Technique When your Natural Attack, Cross of Thorns Attacks or Heart Piercing hits a target, you can earn the Briar Technique effect. This provides an extra increase of Physical Attack Power by (Buff0-623080)% and of Wisdom by (Buff1-623080)%. Can be stacked 5 times. 

Scout

Spring Carol Reduces your Warm Spring cooldown time to 30 seconds and gives your Camellia Flower an area effect. 

Rogue

Wasteland Enables Earth Arrow to inflict extra Dark Damage. While the falling rocks are in effect, the target's critical hit rate resistance is reduced. 

Mage

Sounds of Season Power of Summer that is triggered by Summer Banquet is transferred from a personal effect to a party effect. 

Warden

Briar Life Gives Briar Shield an additional increase in Received Healing. When Enhanced Briar Shield is triggered and MP are recovered, it causes an extra (DMG-623125) healing effect with a range of 50. The maximum level of this skill is 50.
