New content: level cap is now 77

Cedric removed

Cedric (and Agnes) has been removed since the last scheduled downtime. The diamond price on my server Isiltir isn't affected yet but we will some sort of affect, eventually. Especially the next time there is an offer that will get players to spend dias.

New Level 70 Elite Skills!


Some of you may already have found the new Level 70 Elite Skills in ItemPreview which appeared with patch 5.03.2573 of Runes of Magic. Even if we can't get them yet, Elite-Skills are always very interesting and therefore we'll have a closer look at them in today's news. Please keep in mind that:
  • the skills are not yet available and may change until they are released
  • skill-calculation ist a bit tricky and we cannot guarantee that our values are always right

Warrior
  • Scout
    • Blood Battle
      • Increases your Blood Arrow's Melee Weapon Damage at the same time.
  • Rogue
    • Desperate Measures
      • When activated, it will prevent death once and restore full HP within 10 seconds. After death is averted, the caster will experience a Weakened state for 5 seconds. This will cause 15% HP damage for every second.
  • Mage
    • Possessed by Anger
      • Makes your Electrical Rage stackable and have an extra Physical Defense and Magical Defense bonus increase.
  • Priest
    • Blood Fury Battle Cry
      • When you use Bloodlust it will carry an additional increase of Physical Attack Speed by 1...7* % and Critical Physical Hit Rate by 30...210** points. Lasts for 15 seconds.

    • Breathing Obstruction
      • If a target uses a skill in the time allotted after being hit by your Mana Drain Shot, then that skills cooldown time will be increased by an extra 5 seconds. If the skill doesn't have a cooldown time then the cooldown times for all skills will be 1...3* seconds. The maximum level of this skill is 50.

    • Wisdom and Bravery
      • Gives your Brute Strength an extra increase in Stamina. After it is used, it increases your Intelligence by 50% of your Stamina plus 50% of your Strength. Lasts 30 seconds.
  • Scout
    • Wind Fire Cultivation
      • Earn both Fire Arrow and Sys623181_name at the same time.
        note: Sys623181_name is not yet translated. Probably "Power of the Wind". This is just guessing but the same-titled buff (not the skill) suggests it.
  • Rogue
    • Pride of the Baron
      • When you have the Fang Ritual effect, the critical attack caused by your spells will reduce the cooldown time of Kiss of the Vampire by 3 seconds. Your Gift of the Baron will then have an additional increase to the Critical Magical Hit Rate.
  • Priest
    • Intelligence Seize
      • Makes your Magic Drain cause an extra reduction of the target's Intelligence and increases your Intelligence.
  • Knight
    • Saint's Resilience
      • Removes Helpless, Dizzy, Root, Slow and Fear states. (Target must be in a Root, Slow or Dizzy state for removal effect to work.) This skill can be used under any state that hinders casting. Also reduces your received damage by 60% and lasts for 7 seconds. After the Saint's Resilience effect wears off, it causes an extra increase in your Movement Speed. Lasts for 7 seconds.
  • Warden
    • Earth Core Barrier
      • Reduces your received damage by 90%. Also all spells are transformed to instant spells. Lasts for 5 seconds.
  • Druid
    • Pulse Link
      • You will receive Sys499624_name as well when you use Sys499624_name on a target.
        Note: Sys499624 is not yet translated. Probably "Mother Earth's Protection".

Priest
  • Warrior
    • Violent Kick
      • When Accuracy Halo is in effect, Ascending Dragon Strike carries a Stun effect and when this effect wears off, a Slow effect is invoked.
  • Scout
    • Waterstop Curse
      • When Frost Halo is in effect, casting Heal has a chance to reset the cooldown time of Curing Shot.
  • Rogue
    • Black Source Resonance
      • When Wraith Halo is in effect, Infectious Wound can cause additional Dark Damage. Lasts for 10 seconds.
  • Mage
    • Spinning Wind
      • While Windrider Halo is in effect, the caster's Casting Speed will increase by 10%.
  • Knight
    • Light Guidance
      • While Devotion Halo is in effect, the caster's Healing will increase by 5%.

Knight

    • Divine Punishment
      • Reduces extra MP consumed by Punishment. When Punishment hits a target, it will increase Parry Rate by 20...200* points that lasts for 10 seconds. The maximum amount of increase is 60 points. The maximum level of this skill is 50.

    • Wild Offensive
      • Makes your Explosion of Power increase the pet's Physical Attack Speed and reduces the cooldown time of Explosion of Power.
  • Druid
    • Beast Awakening
      • Increases Maximum HP 20% and lasts for 12 seconds. When Blade of Protection hits, reduces Beast Awakening cooldown time for the target.

Druid

    • Heart of the Wild
      • Allows you to equip Leather Armor and Chainmail and increases Melee Weapon Damage by 5...65* %.

    • Gift Pulse
      • Consumes all Power of Nature and heals nearby party members. Every point of power of nature that is consumed heals 10...760* HP. The maximum amount of healing is 100%.
